Rapid City, SD— The Black Hills Stock Show concert weekend is set, with the latest confirmation that the Casey Donahew Band will headline the Black Hills Stock Show Stampede on Friday, February 4th at the James Kjerstead Event Center.

Donahew has been a trailblazer in the Red Dirt Country scene for the past 18 years, rising from a favorite on the Texas music scene to a hot national touring act. His eight self-produced albums have all resulted in fan favorites, but his latest album has garnered his first Number 1 hit song with “Let’s Make A Love Song”.

“The Casey Donahew Band is the final piece of a great concert weekend”, says Stock Show Manger Ron Jeffries. “Red Dirt Country is what the Stock Show fans want, and this year’s Stampede is the strongest showing yet.”

The Casey Donahew Band will headline the Black Hills Stock Show Stampede, sharing the stage with TikTok superstar Trey Lewis and local favorite Brandon Jones.

Rapid City, SD— Entertainment details are confirming for the 2022 Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo®, January 28 through February 5 in Rapid City.

Friday, February 4th will again host the Stock Show Stampede at the James Kjerstad Event Center at the Central States Fairgrounds. Local favorite Brandon Jones will start the party at 7pm, followed by TikTok sensation Trey Lewis. Lewis shot to the top with his hit “Down in Dallas”, racking up over 3.3 million views on the popular streaming platform. Announcement for the final headliner for the Stampede is forthcoming.

Back by popular demand, the Boots and Beer Festival is returning to the Event Center Saturday, February 5th. “This event was a crowd favorite”, says BHSS Manager Ron Jeffries, “we are so excited to be able to bring this back in 2022!" Beer tasting will run from 7pm – 9pm, with Dirty Word taking the stage at 9pm for a full night of dancing and celebrating the close of another successful Stock Show.

The Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo®, produced by Central States Fair, Inc., will cover 10 full days of cattle shows and sales, youth shows, the Truck Defender horse sale, Broncs for Breakfast, Wild Costume Bronc Ride, Sheep Dog Trials, Ranch Rodeo, and concerts with local favorites and Nashville artists.

The 64th Annual Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo® will be January 28-February 5, 2022. The 10-day stock show will include Cinch® Trade Show, 2-day Horse Sale, 10 breeds of cattle shows & sales, The Original Ranch Rodeo, and Broncs for Breakfast Ranch Bronc Ride.
