The Black Hills Stock Show® Horse Committee will host our
10th Annual Black Hills Stock Show® Farm Credit Services of America Summer Horse Sale. The sale is scheduled for: Sunday, August 20th at 1:00 pm in the James Kjerstad Event Center at the Central States Fairgrounds. The response from consignors and buyers to host another horse sale in early summer prompted the Black Hills Stock Show® Horse Committee to come up with a second sale. Please give consideration to this select sale when planning your marketing strategy.
NEW IN 2023: Consignment form will now need to be accompanied by a COPY of the registration paper. Upon your acceptance to the sale the original along with the signed transfer will be mailed to the office. Consignment fee will be sent in with the application and can be paid either online or with a check.
NEW IN 2023: You are encouraged to fill out the form ONLINE this year as that will become the only option starting in 2024. Starting then we will no longer be accepting paper copies. If you need assistance with the online form please contact: Dani Herring at (605) 355-3861
It is highly encouraged to provide a catalog ready photo and brief video displaying the horse at a walk, jog, and lope in any discipline in which the horse is trained (videos MUST be a YouTube link).

CONSIGNMENTS CLOSE Friday, JUNE 2nd.
Consignments will be selected by the Horse Sale Committee and they will also determine catalog order. All horses not accepted will have their entry fee returned.
